Hey y’all. If you’ve been coming out to the North Bend Bar and Grill for the last 6 months you know a few things about me. I am unashamed of my nerd cred, I can’t fuckin’ pronounce the name of that shit filled river in Pittsburgh and Caddyshack is never the right answer at my quiz. Oh yeah, and I’m not a particularly sentimental fellow. I’m going to keep this short and sweet. You guys are fabulous and you made my long drive from Seattle to North Bend worth it every week. I hope to see some of you in Bellevue at Lunchbox Laboratory on Monday nights and the rest of you when we find a new home in the valley for the summer.

After months and months of domination, Fat Kids Coach Catholic School Cheerleaders, yeah I’ll be wanking to that imagery later, didn’t even place in our last until fall. They have to spend all summer thinking about how our reigning champions Mad Cows, beat them senseless. You have a few months to plot revenge. Reunited (And it Feels So Good) scored a solid second place. Erich of ATeek’d won the Facebook free beer and Natalie of Reunited (And it Feels So Good) nabbed the email bonus. As we rapidly approach the last quiz before our long summer vacation at The North Bend Bar and Grill it has occurred to me that my Tuesday nights are looking pretty dull without you. Here is a snap shot of my Tuesday’s before the quiz started. Wake up around 12. CENSORED. CENSORED. Drive to North Bend around 4. CENSORED. Start quiz at 8! That’s thrilling. Now there won’t be anything to break up the monotony of the bits I censored. I’m certain you’ve filled in those blanks with whatever deviant fantasies you have about me. You people disgust me.

Hall of Shame

  • Super Skier – I have heard that most black people look the same, but saying that Will Smith and Rihanna are related is pushing it a bit.
  • Unicorn Rodeo, Giddyup Bitches – Way to dodge the titanic bullet! On a side note, I know she’s battered and well worn, but I’d still ride on Kate Winslet’s Nekkid Hull any day.

  • I Gave Her My Hear; She Gave Me a Pen – The night started out so well… You were one of only two teams to ace R1, “Recently in Stuff”.

  • R6, “Heil Saitan”, Question 6: From 1988 to 1993, Nickelodeon aired what British cartoon about a vegetarian vampire bird? – It was certainly before my time and only one of you managed to pull Count Duckula out of your ass for the point here.

After a few weeks of misery, Fat Kids Wobble but They Don’t Fall Down returned to the top of the heap in convincing fashion. Mad Cows scored second place. Our Facebook free beer went to Rebecca of I Gave Up Trivia for Lent and the email bonus winner was Tiffany of Unicorn Rodeo, Giddyup Bitches. I can’t believe there is only one week remaining pub quiz at The North Bend Bar and Grill before we go on summer hiatus. It’s crazy! It was a bit of a quiet night out in North Bend this week. We had the bastard team of unknown origins AKA Sweet Sistine Bracket back in action and I melted your brains with the greatest audio round this side of my dick. No seriously. It was the best since the round by that band that covered songs by saying “my dick” as many times as possible. I’m a bit shocked by your lack of knowledge about the bath salts face eater guy… You should make sure you google that shit.

I’d say tonight’s quiz was hard fought, but that would be a lie. Sweet Sistine Bracket tore it up and took victory by double digits. Fat Kids Slimmed Down took second place.
