The teams at the Meridian Ram love to see Professor Truman sweat.  With 5 minutes until the quiz started, there were no teams signed up.  But then, they bum rushed me.  Not in the anal intercourse kind of way,  but in the everyone come up at the same time kind of way.  We had a total of nine teams!  Good on you, Meridian Ram.

Now on to the part of the blog where I highlight the wierd questions, wierd amswers, and general stuff I find interesting.  Here we go.

1.  Round 1.  I worked many days at Paramont Studios.  Yep, yep.

2.  The quizzers don't know much about The Voice.  They all know a shit load about Cosmopolitians.

3.  Round 4.  We have a round on limes, but questions on beers that go with limes?  Not coll, man. Not cool.

4.  Somebody switch the Thursday visual round with Saturdays visual round!  Who did such a thing?!?!!?  Me.  Professor Truman.  I know cocks won't fly in Meridian.   Good job, Professor Truman, good job.

5.  Stockholm Syndrome.   More like crappy cover band syndrome.  Tough round.

Well those are just afew of the highlights.  Now on to who won what.

3rd place -- AWESOME

2nd place -- Prrrrrrrr

1st place -- Donner Party is Shaking it

Good job teams.  Keep hitting the books.

I've seen many smart teams.   But rarely does a team do something so smart as to be considered great.  Last night was one of those nights.  The weather was wonderful yesterday.  The sun set late.  After the start of the quiz.  Needless to say, it was a light turnout.  One team.  But that team went Einstien on the force!  They divided and conquered.  The split up and became 2 teams.  And won both the prizes!  That's using your noodle to drain somw problems!  Good job and congratultions to both, Batman Swallows Robin and The Other Team.  You guys are truely the best of the best.  My hats off to you.

Due to technical issues this is a small blog this week, but I think it goes perfectly with actual quiz this week.  So, HAZAH!

1st place-- The Other Team

2nd place-- Batman Swallows Robin

Keep hitting the books!

Everything is calm, cool and collected at the Meridian Ram Restaurant.  Nobody had to elbow anybody for seating and there are no bachelorette parties causing any trouble.  It was perfect quizzing conditions.  Once you've been to college, your body instinctively gets ready for finals around this time of the year.  The point totals from tonights quiz reflect this theory.  The unoffical theme of the evening was: SPORTS.  Let's see who are athletic teams were, shall we?   Honey Badgers, Red Hot Winners, Kevin Ware's Compound Fraction and  Anti-Jocks all took athletic names.  Good on you.  So now some interesting things from the quiz.

1.  Teams know their 1880's better than I would have thought.

2.  PBR is good in any decade or century.

3.  Things Men Shouldn't Do After 30 ...FUCK YOU!  Why's it any business of yours.

4,  Geeks Who Drink may use the word, "anal" a bit to often.  I'm just sayin'.

5.  Only 3 foreign words on the quiz.  Thank God.

We had an, "air guitar-off" to decide 3rd place.  Speaking of which...

3rd place - Ram Rod

2nd place - Anti-Jocks

1st place - Kevin Ware's Compound Fraction

Great quiz everyone.  Keep hitting the books.
