I started coming to pub quiz all the way back in the summer of 2011. My friends and I would hop around between Little Woodrow's Rice Village and East Downtown, but we hardly ever missed a Tuesday Pub Quiz. When I heard that Geeks Who Drink was hiring I got drunk and sent a strange, poorly filled out application form to Geek Headquarters in the Rocky Mountains. After a grueling tryout proving that I was literate, I was given my own Little Woodrow's in the Heights. A short time later, the Geeks that be said, "Clayton, you're so good at Quizmastering that we want you to do a second venue. This company would litterally crumble without that soothing voice penetrating deep into our quizzer's earholes." Now I host on Tuesday nights at Hendricks Pub. I am quite funny, tall and the ladies (read: my mom) always tell me how handsome I am.

Hey guys,

Thanks for coming to Little Woodrow's in the Heights tonight. We had a great crowd in a night that featured a couple of bonus showdowns. I want to give a big thanks to Nick, our newest quizmaster, for helping me keep score. Katie will be back from whatever the fuck she has been doing soon.

We had a Duh! round, a round about wolf songs, ominous movie posters, borders, foreign actors pretending to be 'Merican and random knowledge.

Overall a very fun night and almost every single team (damn you Trivia Names are Intimidating) played all eight rounds!

Congrats to Nice Pants Clayton for winning first prize in the bonus showdown and having excellent fashion sense.

Thanks to everyone who came out to the one year anniversary quiz at Little Woodrow's in the Heights. It was quite a spectacle, clearly. I don't know why you would expect anything less. I know you all love me, and I want to give a special thanks to everyone who brought me gifts. They were all much appreciated. Thanks to my fellow Houston Quizmasters who showed up to support me even though you brought cowbells.

That is enough thanking. Last night I put on my big boy tuxedo and quizzed your genitals off. We had rounds on man boobs, the music Captain Planet would listen to if he had a place to hold an iPod in those tights, popular online newspapers, diarrhea inducing foods, and to be honest the last few rounds kind of ran together. Something about random knowledge, not sure though.

Best Team Name/Worst Human Awards go to Amanda Berry: 2013 Hide n Seek Champ and Ten years in Cleveland and all I got was this lousy baby. You're all bad people, but that also makes me happy in an odd way.

Hello Woodrowsians,

As I reminded you several times last night, next week is the ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY of Geeks Who Drink at Little Woodrows in the Heights. Tradition calls for red roses as a one year anniversary gift, but I don't want them. Bring me good shit. The attire for the evening is black tie casual. That means whatever you want it to mean, unless you think it means a tuxedo t-shirt. Wearing a tuxedo t-shirt is almost as bad as naming your team Car Ramrod or My Couch Pulls Out But I Don't. Just don't do it.

We had a packed house last night at LW in the Heights with 23 teams. I tried to get it wrapped up as quick as I could so everyone could listen to the Rockets game and everybody (including people that just came for the game) was really cool about it. For this I thank you.

We had rounds on magazine names, breakup songs, musicals, toothless actresses (one of the most off puting things I've seen in a while), video game starting sounds and of course random knowledge.

Congrats to Daily Graceists for coming in first place, She Touched My May Pole for second and I'd Wiretap That Ass for third. You guys did it!

Thanks again for coming and remember to bring me bomb ass gifts next week. Maybe there will be something in it for the best dressed team too... You'll have to dress up to find out.
