Our quiz time at the Wing Warehouse is coming to an end,but that did not stop us from having a great night. Round one taught us a little bit about proper spelling, thanks to Lionel Richie and the Princess Bride for that!
The first audio round was metal cover songs. While the cover of NIN might have been slightly less metal than the original, you got the point. In fact all the teams did really well on this round with the exception of the Chuck Barry cover.
Round 3 dealt with baseball and ended up being a great thing for most teams but left a few trailing behind.
Round 6 was all about aquatic mammals. Some of you tried to fight me on the Polar bear question, but most of you know better than to do something like that! This round also gave Douglas Adam fans and Harry Potter nerds a chance to show their stuff.
Here 4 the beer took third place, the Pecan Sandies took 2nd(?!) and Rehab is for Quitters ended up in first.
In closing I have to say that I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with you guys! I love you and thank you for making every Wednesday this past year such a blast! xoxoxoxo

The night started out with an easy round with the theme of "Duh". It included questions about Santa Claus's Canadian postal code and the birthplace of Antonio Banderas.
Round 2 was songs dealing with modes of transportation. Most teams did a decent job, except for when team Kahn "Pierre'd" the Aerosmith song Love In an Elevator, thinking it's about living in an elevator. Thanks for the laughs.
We had a round where all questions included dead hookers..Unfortunately for Here for the Beer they admitted to only knowing about live hookers. I bet they feel like well rounded people now.
During the scoring break after round 6 some teams faced the lovely Cleveland springtime weather and went outside to draw cakes in the snow in an attempt to figure out how many slices 3 knife cuts could produce. Turns out the best way to get the correct answer is to make a drunken guess.
The final audio round of the night was clips of politicians being interruped by Pee-wee yelling about giant underpants. Scary how that was more intelligent than some of things that they were really saying.
The night ended with YOLT in 3rd place, Rehab is for Quitters in 2nd and Here for the Beer taking first place.

What kinds of things do you not want happening to your balls? These are the kinds of hard hitting questions we ask at Geeks Who Drink. It was also the theme of our first audio round.
Tonight we learned about recent events and listened to fake movie trailers (definitely the crowd favorite). It was also the night to bust out all your knowledge of English slang words (that's the across the pond English). If that failed there was a whole round devoted to Apocalypse Now and cats which included a Thundercats question and a quote from Ron fucking Swanson. And if THOSE weren't reason enough to get crazy, we also celebrated quiz regular, Devon's 15th birthday with kitty litter cake.
The ending tally found The Pecan Sandies in third, Sandusky Daycare LLC in second, and for a birthday miracle, Devon's team, Clueless took the top spot. Best birthday present ever? Probably.
