So, I had a whopping 2 teams last night!!! Many thanks to my ever so faithful teams, Dick Pics and Sleezy Meezy. I also had another team, Team Benefis, but they didn't last long when they found out that they couldn't play as one big team. (they had 11 people.) They did, however do excellent on round 5. Which is all the further they got.

Dick Pics officially got first place with 55 points, and Sleezy Meezy got second with 41. It was a super fun night, and a great chance to be more personal with the teams.

Don't Shout Out The Answers, Douchebag

We had a small crowd last night, which only served to make the whole evening that much more fun. Aside from the usual wiseass who walks in late, not knowing the rules, and just HAS to shout out an answer before I can reiterate the rules, things went very smoothly. Hey Wiseass, next time you decide to shout out an answer, try to be sure you at least know the REAL answer, although it does make my job easier, because I don't have to make you look like a total douchebag for doing it...You did that yourself. And all I had to do was join the crowd in a common rolling of the eyes.

Turd Ferguson took first place, and vowed to be back next week. Minus one soldier who gets to go home to Illinois for leave. I told him he was allowed to miss a week for that reason, but that he better be back the next week, or else. Yes, I have resorted to threats to make sure my players come back week after week. HaHa

Dick Pics, the infamous team who has managed to make it into ALL of my blogs so far came in second. They apparently lost their pride when they decided not to follow directions in round 2 and turned in answer sheets with the name of the SKA band who covered the song, not the ORIGINAL ARTIST. We still concluded that they would have come in second regardless, only a little bit closer to having won. Can't wait to see what they come up with next week to get themselves into my blog.

Hot Carney, aptly named for a wonderful tshirt one of them was wearing, came in a very close 3rd place. The owner of the tshirt said he had been waiting months for just this moment to be wearing the shirt at the same time he could name a team after it. Dillon, of Team Hot Carney, also managed to take the first 3 bonus questions, and got 3 free beers.

My lovely Assistant, Valli, was there again to help me out. She's a cheap date, and all I have to do is buy her some beer for helping me with scoring the rounds. SHe's AWESOME!!!

Well, we made it through the second night at the Tap House Lounge. It was officially my first night all alone in the big bad world of Geeks WHo Drink Quiz Night!!!

Cluster, our first place winners, came to us from out of town, and were more than happy to be able to come back to the Tap House for a super yummy lunch the next day on their way out of town to use their $25 gift card. These guys were so happy they decided to stay and play. I'm happy I recruited them.

That Episode of Who's The Boss Where Tony Sees Angela Naked in The Shower came in second place, Which apparently really pissed off Dick Pics who came in a VERY close third place. They were all friends, so Eric, the ring-leader of Dick Pics, and last weeks winner of the 3 foot inflatable tentacle, Threw a little fit. Which had us all chuckling. It was nothing compared to the fits he threw when he got so very close to winning the bonus questions for a free beer. He never did win, and threw such a good fit, that I just had to buy him a beer. Course, I think it may have had something to do with him being such a good sport to my heckling him about the fits inthe first place.

We had a few teams that were there last week, and it was nice to see familiar faces, even though it was only the second night there. Speaking of a familiar face, I need to thank my very close friend, Valli, for coming and supporting me (and helping me score). I am hoping to see lots more familiar faces in the coming weeks.

I managed to get an email address from just about everyone there, who hadn't given me one last week, because I decided to do a drawing and gave away free beer to a couple lucky people who signed up last night.
