During the first few minutes before the Quiz started, there was a group of youths in baseball outfits checking out the visual round. I really heard a kid say this and I hope to never forget it. When he and his friends where looking at the picture of Wyclef Jean, one kid said, "Is that Will.I.Am.? I think it is." to which his friend replied, and I quote, "No, that can't be Will.I.Am., Will.I.Am. could NEVER have that much swag!" I don't know what that means but, that's the kind of shit that goes down at the Wing Dome.
Round 1: Recently In Stuff [5/14/13]
I personally thing that $75 a game would still be overpaying Tim Tebow. I just thank God every day that he is no longer playing for Denver.(That's right, I'm a Denver fan. What!?)
Average score: 6.2
Round 2: Is There Something You're Trying to Tell Us?
At least five teams tonight thought that by adding a female voice with Reel Big Fish that automatically makes it No Doubt. And I don't have the where-with-all to defend that...
Average score: 9.4
Round 3: Misc. Conceptions
For all intensive purposes this round was pretty good. Most of you knew that violins ARE fiddles and Bill Shakespeare was a better lyrical genius than whoever wrote the Bible.
Average score: 6.1
Round 4: FLILFs!
I don't know much about First Ladies but I can't wait to see what the pet cause will be for the first First Man, More football and beer is what I would guess, and I hope that dream comes true.
Average score: 6.3
Round 5: Do Gooders
Who knew that so many rich people did so much nice stuff? I don't think that anyone missed the Michael J. Fox question...ahh...he has Parkinson's...
Average score: 7
Round 6: Muhammads and Alis
Prince Ali! Handsome is he, Ali Ababwa. That physique! How can I speak, Weak at the knee!
Average score: 5.7
Round 7: ZooTV
I liked how I asked, “Who remembers ‘Duckman’” and the only two teams who know, all slowly raised their hand and a somewhat confident/cocky manner yet sheepish at the same time. Random coordination WILL be tolerated her at the Wing Dome.
Average score: 4.7
Round 8: Random Knowledge
Always a crowd favorite, this round has everything. This week, questions on Bieber, Wheel of Fortune, Broken legs, and Omar Sharif. The best question came at the end asking about the View Askewniverse. Who portrayed these people, only the Kevin Smith faithful will know and OP will surely deliver. Average score: 9.8
I had 18 teams at the start and that was fan-fuckin-tastic. I love seeing all the smiling face's that put up with me every week. You are the wind beneath my wings. The top three teams tonight have all tasted victory before, Third place was the amazing group, Dude, Where's My Dongle?. Knocked out of the top stop at the last minute was last week’s champs, Stuck in a Rut. Our champions tonight have been here before and I'm not sure they will ever be defeated, The mighty Captain Tit-Hand and his merry band of Muffin Tops. Thank you all for coming down tonight and don't for get to check out the Facebook page and like Geeks Who Drink and Geeks Who Drink - Wing Dome.

This was a good night, lots of teams, lots of food, and lots of sunshine poking its ugly head into the Wing Dome. I think that this is the first time I've had All the teams that started finish with us. It was great to see that level of dedication.
Round 1: Thirty is the New... Some Other Number
1983 was a great year apparently, McNuggets, Hooters, AOL!. Makes me sad that I won't be born until 1987. What's a child to do?
Average score: 6
Round 2: This Is Why We Don't Karaoke Anymore
Songs I claimed I've never heard, "Piano Man" and "Don't Stop Believin'". To the one girl who was so shocked that I've "Never" heard them, you poor thing, life is going to be hard.
Average score: 11.2
Round 3: Roundball Redux
Yes: Hawks, Celtics, Bulls, Nuggets, Lakers, Heat, Thunder, and Spurs
No: Pacers, Grizzlies, Knicks, Mavericks, Rockets, Nets, Clippers, Bucks, Sonics, Magic, Warriors, and Cavs
Hell No: Jazz. (Go back to NOLA!)
Average score: 5
Round 4: Heaven, & Other Places That Could Never Exist
I'm afraid I'll never get to go to Valhalla because I will never die in battle. Poor me, maybe I can get into one of those Michael Jackson knife fights and die, I think that would get me there?
Average score: 4.75
Round 5: Those Who Can't Do...
Some people forget that Walter White didn't always make Meth; he was a teacher, molding the minds of youths that he would soon destroy with blue Meth. Average score: 5.75
Round 6: Master P.M.S.: Before & After
I personally think that Javier Bardemphysema was the best one. It just flowed so well and it's a very serious disease.
Average score: 4.4
Round 7: Teach Me, Picture Box!
You all Knew Reading Rainbow and The Magic School bus, which was great, I wouldn’t be friends with you if you didn't know those. Hysteria! was great too, check it out.
Average score: 3.75
Round 8: Random Knowledge
This round appeared to be tougher than other round 8's. Perhaps it was the saturnine questions about dictator horoscopes or questions on house that people died in. It could even be the fact that you thought about Speedos too much. Any who, others just did better than others at the random round. But that’s how the cookie crumbles.
Average score: 8.5
In the end we had a tie for first place between Ramrod and Stuck in a Rut, two teams that have won it all before. The questions were tough and the teams tired, but, Stuck in a Rut emerged victorious by a score of 4/5 to 3/5. I'm sorry Ramrod, next week will be your week for sure. Not to be forgotten, WMX place third and missed out on the tie breaker by two points. Oh well, Just, everyone come back for some more torture and beer. I won't keep you up so late next time. Don't forget to check out the Facebook page for GWD and GWD-Wing Dome, like them both and you will be happy. Good bye and I'll see you all next Tuesday!

Four rounds tonight with 16 points possible! What is this madness that has overtaken the Wing Dome? How high will scores climb? We just don't know, but let’s find out.
Round 1: Name Those Colors!
The blood question threw you for a loop. Blue blood? Only if we're animals with a copper-centered hemocyanin instead of our hemoglobin. Can I get a What-What from my scientist?
Average score: 6
Round 2: Mashups
I personally thought that the Rage Against The Machine/Glenn Miller mashup was outstanding. I really would buy a whole album of that shit.
Average score: 9.4
Round 3: Sooner or Later: Character Assassination
If you haven't seen Seven Psychopaths yet, check it out. It's a great movie. If you haven't seen the original True Grit, Dennis Hopper dies in it. Spoilers Much?
Average score: 6.2
Round 4: The Beatings Will Continue Until the Anagrams Improve
Other dictator anagrams for you all to solve: Obese Mouse Tusk, Dogma Zone, Oh Inch Him, and A Amid Fag Arm Mud. Get back to me on those.
Average score: 5.4
Round 5: No, McConaughey! Those Herbs Aren't For Smoking!
Four perfect scores in this round. I guess we have a bunch of little chefs in the Wing Dome.
Average score: 6.8
Round 6: Rubbing One Out
You all need to go out, find a boombox, start rubbing the shit out of it and see just how long it takes for Shaq to make a sequel to Kazaam! I'm guessing a few years if you all start right now.
Average score: 4
Round 7: Behold My Eee-vill
Mr. Freeze is NOT called the Iceman no matter how many people wrote that down. He may not have been born in ice, but he adapted to it very well.
Average score: 7.1
Round 8: Random Knowledge
Tagg, Craig, Ben, Matt, Josh, Bristol, Willow, Piper, Trig, and Track are Palin's and Romney's children. I don't know who's who and I don't really care. More people got that questions right than the questions on states without the death penalty. There are 17 states without the death penalty.
Average score: 9.3
With a High score of 83, the Cheeseheads took the top stop. They took full advantage of the multiple double point rounds and it paid off. Second place was taken by Game of Dongles who narrowly beat out Team Wankers by a score of 74-72. Great job by all of the teams tonight, it was a fantastic night. Don't for get to check out the facebook page for Geeks Who Drink, Geeks Who Drink at the WingDome, and The WingDome. Give it a go will ya?
