Jeffrey, a graduate of Theater Arts from San Jose State University, moved from Los Angeles to Boise. In Los Angeles, Jeff performed Stand-up comedy at all the major clubs including The Improv chain and Ha-Ha Cafe. He moved to Boise just two weeks after the local comedy club closed. Looking for a performance outlet, and because he was driving his family insane, he signed up for Geek Who Drink. Jeff is a movie geek who is always quoting lines, which also drives his family insane. Jeff is always ready with a bad impersonation and a funny story.

Hey Party People,

Watching a Quizzer pick the right pencil is my entertainment. I understand the importance of choosing a sharp one, especially over that past few weeks, when a sharp pencil was a rarity. Oh, and I got the message as more and more answer sheets where written in pen, answers scratched out and arrows drawn in as to which answer goes where. Plus, someone at the end of a Quiz turned in a mechanical pencil. Message receive. Our pencils were getting dull. 

This week, I pulled out my new pencil sharpener, since I have killed two electric ones plus the ones I stole from my son's school supplies.  All of the old ones are dead and dull. Yes, the new one is one of the old school sharpeners with the crank handle that always use to make too much noise when you had to sharpen a pencil in class. I sharpened them all to a lethal point. It still wasn't perfect as one side was mostly wood and the other was lead that was destine to break at first contact with paper.

And there my Quizzers stood, looking at the clown head full of sharp pencils like it was the hardest question of the night. Like, the whole Quiz comes down to the right pencil. Like, the answers are in the pencils. Which they are you know. I totally believe that.

Lots of funny and long team names tonight as most of you torture me because I'm the slowest typer on the face of the Earth. The CO jumped back on top to win by two points over I Have a Fever and the Only Prescription is More Trivia. Third place needed a tie breaker and so we had a pants off dance off. Duct Tapes Makes No No No Sound Like Mmm Mmm Mmm kept their clothes on and out moved I Wish This Microphone Was a Dildo for third place. I'm sure a video will appear on the internet soon.

Special thanks to The CO for getting me water after having me try a habanero rice crispy treat. That shit was hot! Great flavor but the heat just sneaks up on you. How long did I last without taking a sip of beer? A minute something? Gonna pay for that in the morning.

Hey Party People,

We started Quiz off the right way with the Quizzers giving me a BJ. It was our round 1 theme entitled , Gimme a BJ. I asked for a BJ and the Quizzers answered Billy Joel, Bruce Jenner, blackjack as well as hell no. Kind of sad that out of fourteen teams the only person to say yes to Gimme A BJ was a dude. Must mean I'm getting old and fat OR the crowd was full of nuns and lesbians. I vote for option two. Keeps my ego in place.

Another fun round was when I asked the Quizzers to come up with the proper acronym for FOIL, such as in law or when multiplying binomials. You guys came up with some interesting answers. Here are the best:

-Fondled Oiled Innocent Lesbians

-Fucking On Intense Lubricant

-Fuck Off In Latin

-Feel Outside, Insert Later

One of the correct answers was First, Outside, Inside, Last,  (sounds dirty to me)which is great for math but I wish i had known this when it came to girls. It would have been great knowledge to have as a horny 16 year old trying to make a move on the ladies. Maybe I would have gotten further than almost first base. Yes, I had trouble getting to first base. Mostly, I'd pop out to the infield. (use you imagination) or hit a bouncer back to the mount for an easy out. Mostly, I'd just strike out. Maybe I should have taken that dude up on his BJ offer?

We had some high scores tonight as we had an extra double point round and you Quizzers know your car brands. Even my new teams, Super Dupers, 2 Whores and a Prude and Care Bare Stare, scored very well. 

Going into round 8, every team in the top seven was one point behind the team in front of them. It all came down to round 8. With our best score on round 8, the team that called their shot won. And In First Place placed first with our usual winners, The CO, taking home second place. With the return of Bryan, What Would Neitche Do? managed to hang on to third place. QM Shut Up And Get On With It also called their shot as we heard them slide down to fourth place. Reminder, Teachers don't do it in the summer

Hey Party People,

Oh Fuck Me!

Let me explain. I use to have all day to write the blogs and come up with funny one liners, then I switched my shifts to Monday through Friday. This left me with a decision as to write the blog after a 14 hour day loaded with beer or wait till the morning and write the blog with a cup of coffee. After reading the crap-tastic night blogs, I switched to writing in the morning. I use to get up when my kids left to catch the bus for school. See the problem yet? 

No bus. No school. No built in alarm clock. It's fucking summer time. No 9 year waking me up to say good bye. Needless to say, I over slept. Leaving me with 30 minutes to write this blog and get ready for work. Go, go, go!

Things we learned from the Quiz:

-You're way too young if you don't know what an "ALF" is

-We don't know if they're cinema jail bait nor do we care

-World music teachers know their world fashion

-The correct answer was not Shit Creek

We had the return of The CO, who came back after a few weeks off to lead from start to finish. The House team, Barley Bros and Hos, did a great job and finished in second place for a moral victory.  Officially, the second place prize went to I'm A Doctor Not a Quizmaster and third place went to the wonderful Fart Barfunkel who beat out their friends table by one point. 

Summer time is indeed here as our team of teachers was out for the Quiz. Time to do some recruiting and get the science and history teachers involved. Also, thanks for passing my son. He can now go to high school and get bullied by professionals...and other kids too. (there's the one liner)

I really need to shave and shower. I'll see you next week or later
