I know guys, its a bit of a dick move for all of the answers for the round on things longer than Kim Kardashian's Marriage to be longer. We do try to keep you on your toes.
Summer is coming. I can feel it. We were able to open the windows at Paddy's tonight and let the evening air in without losing any appendages to frost bite. Had any appendages been lost, our winning team likely could have replaced them, as everyone on FML works for a tissue and organ donation company.
Five out of six of our teams tonight used their jokers in round two tonight. Swag All-Stars, Poppycocks, Nipple Mittens, and Deep Fried Chow Mein were all able to see through forced religious lyrics to hear the original songs in this audio round. I myself am more of a Weird Al than Apologetix guy.
Man Bear Chair, 3 Tall Black Men, Eye Ex, and Blood Bath and Beyond made valiant showings tonight, but all had fewer answers than The Brotherhood Without Answers.
Camel Toe Rodeo dominated the first seven rounds of the quiz tonight and seemed to be the pre-destined victors. One of their number, Nick, even won a Bacon Lollipop in the email bonus question. Everything came down to the final round, random knowledge. The Random Knowledge round often serves as king-maker, and tonight was no different. Our winners came from 29 points behind at the start of round 8 to clinch the top spot by one point. Congratulations to FML!
Come back next week for more Geek Who Drink Quiz.

Did tonight actually happen, or are all of you characters in the elaborate fiction my psyche has created to make sense of the world and sheild me from the brutality inherent in the double life I lead so that I create a cultlike following among others searching for a place in life? Gosh, that could be the plot of a movie.
The pub was packed tonight after last week's less than average showing. We had several teams of five and six such as The Fabulistas, Fuck We Need A Name, Suck It Trebek, and Poppycocks. On the other end of the spectrum, Zombie Ninja Pirate was only one guy. Scores for him didn't do so well, but he did draw me a picture of Batman, which is awwesome.
I think my favorite new team name tonight was Bloodbath and Beyond. Don't get me wrong, Team 9 From Outer Space and second place winners Your Mom's a Horcrux are clever, but they are mainstays at the quiz, so don't qualify for best "new" name. You probably could have figured that out without me explaining. Here Comes the Tiger could have been in the running, but I wasn't sure if there was something clever about it or not, and am too tired to google it.
I of course always appreciate seeing Nipple Mittens and Camel Toe Rodeo, both of which had some tremendously good rounds tonight. In the end, Boner Mountain ended up barely edging out their next competitor and taking home a load of money.
I'll see you all next week when I promise the quiz will be just as good as tonight. Tonight was amazing, so that's some tall talk. Show up to see if I deliver!

After several weeks in a row of near capacity crowds it was perhaps inevitable that we might have a smaller week. To be fair, riots in the streets do tend to dampen people's enthusiasm. Ah Seattleites, leave it to them to get out and smash windows and slash tires for... some reason. Maybe the tires said something rude about the protester's mothers?
Anyway, we had a great night at Paddy's full of questions about clowns and topics in which the phrase transvaginal ultrasound was bandied about.
Our only new team tonight was John Galt's Bad Hair Day, perhaps in honor today's protest. I was impressed that they still agreed to play after I invited the two gentleman to join and was informed that they were husband and wife. Awful gracious of them.
Team Nine From Outer Space, Manos the "Team Of Fate" and Camel Toe Rodeo all battled to claim the second place spot which eventually went to Nipple Mittens (illustration on the side). Our first place winners tonight were winning since their uses of the joker to tremendous effect on round 2. From there they were in the lead all night. Congratulations to Suck it Trebek.
Thanks for playing, and come back next week for more Geeks Who Drink Quiz!
