As a young man, he was raised as a Seventh Day Adventist, but he grew wary of celebrating the Sabbath on Saturday. He skipped out on church and attended the movie pictures before finally deciding to go to Hollywood to seek his fortune. A hundred years, and at least a half a dozen sexual encounters with Angelina Jolie later, BBT is best known for being that slow talking, dim-witted guy who really liked french fries. Aside from the copious amount of seamen in The Highliner last night, we managed a pretty bitchin’ quiz. At least one time called me fat on an answer packet and we had at least one geography penis joke. What’s not to like?

In their triumphant return, Damn You JJ Abrams took home the top prize. I heard a lot of grumbling last night about the difficulty of our quiz so I wanted to post up some numbers to prove that you all simply whine too much. The top scores were 81, 70 and 69. Granted the 81 belonged to a team so bloated with players that it made old Marlon Brando hot again, but they still posted a top tier score. In the grand scheme of things 70 points or more is almost always enough to win the quiz at The Highliner. Our 70 point winner tonight would have won or tied for the lead in 75% of our quizzes at The Highliner in the last year. Another note, no round on the quiz had an average score lower than 4. That means that the average team got half the questions, or more, right in every round. Both of our 16 points rounds averaged scores about 10. The moral of the story? The quiz was no harder than what we’ve done in previous weeks. In fact, it was probably easier than most of our quizzes. Disclaimer: I did no real math to generate these numbers.

• What?, Hard Finish and No Kidnapee Left Behind – You all were the ass hats that put Aquaman in your R3, “Aquaman Never Counts”, answers. No Kidnapee Left Behind gets only a warning since you put it in the 8 slot clearly as a joke. The rest of you are officially shamed.
• XX – I may not be a fan of Nu-Metal or Korn, but I know SOMEONE will be insulted that you mixed them up with Nickelback. I’m the one offended by the fact you mixed up Silverchair and Nickelback in R7. TOO MUCH NICKELBACK ON YOUR MINDS!

When everything got added up, Happy Birthday Kristine had, by far the highest score, but they were DQ’d due to having like 9 million people on their team. That meant that Mediocrity Wins the Day took home the first place prize with No Kidnapee Left Behind taking second. It was a hard fought battle for the “Thank God We Didn’t Come in Last” prize and Hard Finish finished hard and took home $10 to show for it.
