Ahhh, It is getting nice at the Piper Pub.  The sun is out late and the short skirts are plentiful  It's a wonderful time to be alive.  Tonight we had 8 teams battling for greatness.  The unoffical theme of the evening was STATUES.  Here are some fun facts from the quiz.

1.  Round 1.  For a "Duh" round, that sure didn't score many points.  Tough break, kids.

2.  Seath MacFarlane or Todd McFarlane?  Who cares!  Pearl Jam was mentioned.  My favorite band of all time.  And it was about, "Do the Evolution"!!!  A fantastic song.

3.  Round 4.  I need to work on my Jewish Grandma voice.

4.  Jesus, Mary and Joseph!  I just like that swear.

5.  TV couples.  Clasic.

Okay, now, "Who won what?", you ask?  Fine, I'll tell you.

Greetings.  As in our unofficial theme this evening was: GREETINGS.  None of the teams took up the challange.  Fine.  Just fine.  I hear you load and clear; I'll come up with a better theme next week.  I know I can.  So intantly, right into the fun facts.

1.  The 2nd word of the entire quiz? ...Anus.  Great.

2.  Tricky, tricky round 2.  Fun.  Keep it up.

3.  Round 3, separtating the nerds from the super-nerds.

4.  Round 5 kicked ass!!!  More like that.  and "like that", I mean black and white.  Way cheaper to print.

5.  Video games!!!!!  YESSSSSSSSSSS!!!!  We need an all video game quiz.

6.  Mixing things up with the audio rounds.  Berry, berry nice.

First Thursday in Boise, Idaho.  A nice day in Boise, Idaho.  Not dark until 9pm in Boise, Idaho.  Giving away the "Geek" socks in Boise, Idaho.  Busy, busy, downtown and at Piper Pub in Boise, Idaho.  It made for a fun and difficult to hear quiz in Boise, Idaho.  The garage door window were all open to the fresh air and traffic rolling down Main St.  But our quizzer's are strong.  Are quizzer's deal with it.  Are quizzer's ROCK! 

To go with the amazing email prize, the unofficial theme of the evening was, "SOCKS".  We had 11 teams battling it out for supremacy.  Many of them new.  Here are the teams that took the time to name themselfs in accordance with the unofficial theme.  Better than a Tube Sock and Japanese Toe Sock.  Good on you guys.  So... it's now to fond out some interesting things from tonights quiz.

1.  "On Top of Old Smoky" is NOT the same thing as the parody "On Top of Spaghetti".  Sorry 3 teams out there.

2.  We had no Ministy fans at this particular venue tonight.

3.  Apparently there are a bunch of food words I have no idea how to pronounce.

5.  Round 6 with the combined the sentance questions was very, very popular.  Keep those coming.

All in all a fun and sucsessful night.  Time to let you know  who won what.
