Wayne"Orange Luv"  Burfeind is a Minneapolis comic who has a happily jaded approach combined with Contemporary observations spiked with an eye for the ridiculous. His stage persona is some amiable and unassuming, you won't notice how far into left field he's taken you, until you're already there.

 

His quizzing is fun yet firm. Willing to be the butt of a joke, he will make you look like the ass

The State Fair is over and the kidlettes are back in school so now it's time to quiz like a boss!

Land o Lakes non-Dairy Creamer were our rookies tonight and had trouble remembering how the alphabet works
I Saw Prince Harry's Quiz in Vegas didn't need any stinky boys to help them tonight
Hank Drops a Bomb played it solo and was hoping for third place for the third week
Tonight I'm Wearing My Hate Fuck Heels had a lot of questions, again, I was glad it wasn't a dude wearing the heels
Pralines and Dick were missing some of their regulars and still managed to be the bestest team
Chocolate Pork came back from last week win in hopes of winning the purse

Round One
Tonight I'm Wearing My hate Fuck Heels wore their third place heels in the first.
Pralines and Dick are using a strategy I am not familiar with and pace themselves in second
Chocolate Pork come out swinging with hay-makers and have the lead

Round Two
Tonight I'm Wearing My hate Fuck Heels and Pralines and Dick have to use the ropes to stay in third
Hank drops a Bomb uses more body blows the weaken the opponents to move up to second
Chocolate Pork are seeming unfazed by their challengers bobbing a weaving in first

Final Round
Tonight I'm Wearing My hate Fuck Heels endure a punishing night not quite able to capitalize on their opponents and go back to their homeland with the third place
Pralines and Dick receive their third loss in their Minneapolis career stating "We know what we need to work on with our coaches and we'll come back with a new fight plan"
Chocolate Pork were poised as could be taking out the competition and winning the night.

In Closing
As I announced last night, Grumpys has decided to stop using Geeks Who Drink and tonight was our last. I have met a shit ton of awesome and beautiful people. Thank you for coming back and supporting us. Keep in mind your drink tickets and gift certificate are still valid.
Keep your eyes open for new GWD venues and I'll be subbing for the other rooms now and again

We were very close to calling it a night with just one team Yoofa Mizzum being present and accounted for.

BUT! The kentucky fried chicken 11 herbs and space experience arrived. YAY!

oh, who's this now? Chocolate Pork? more exciting than ever.

Who's ready to start? The Ass Grabbers! Yes! they walked in just as we got started, 20 minutes late, but, who cares? It's quizz time!

Everyone was all over the place with ranking through out the night

It all came down to the joker.

Chocolate Pork won the night and asked if I've ever been told I look like Patton Oswalt, I said I've been told Brian Poshne too which then lead to a rant on how much they hate him (walks away slowly)

Yoofa Mizzum Got second and were getting a kick out of insulting old pervs

The Kentucky Fried Chicken 11 Herbs and Space Experience had the third place for the night and the longest team name in the history of this August

Ass Grabbers arrived late and exited early. Don't forget the lube dude.

Our sister quiz Groveland Tap had to cancel tonight and to my joy I got some of the quiz junkies
We had a very popular visual round. It lead to many near offensive jokes.
Our sound round of video games let me figure out who the key players are for certain teams

Rarebitz were jonesing for some geekage due to a private event

MK Gee Whiz 3rd in the third on the 21st
Mazel Tov Cocktail 2nd for the third time on the 21st
