You can never tell with jokers. Everyone know that SOME teams are holding them going into the final round, but often you can't be sure who. That team in third place by a bunch of points, maybe they're holding on to it, or maybe they used it in a perfect round 5? That happens!
Not with Barbara Oh No!, who surprised everyone at Pint by waltzing into first place with their final round. Well played quizzers, well played.
Felis El Gato OLE! were most likely worrying more about Carcinogen Zeta Jones to give it much thought. They had a slim 3 point lead going into round 8, and picked up on more point, but were blindsided!
Nicole Sux (but not as good as we do!) were ALSO in a position to suprise everyone, but didn't. Whoops.
That's how the top teams ended up, it was a close quiz, and a good one, by my reasoning! Thanks to everyone, as usual for coming out, catch ya next time!

It was a very good quiz last night at Pint, with a few different teams trying to get the top spot. Our normal favorites were missing a few key players, so many of the teams were licking their chops, feeling like it was going to be their night.
Leg Drop Soup was one of those teams, and they were able to cash in quite nicely, taking the top spot, and the email bonus prize just for good measure.
Mammoth Inspired (read the rest of the team name to the left) caught up quite a bit in the end with their jokered final round, but their poor performance in round 6 (what, not a fan of the lady athletes?) doomed them.
Dude, Where the Fuck is my Team? put up a great score and was no pushover, even though almost all of their team was off in different locations on the night. A couple points here and there was really all the difference.
Tied behind them, Shorties and Funny Name put up great scores for being shorthanded teams. Interestingly, all of their good rounds came in different rounds. Maybe if they teamed up they would've shocked the world?
Pepe had the lowest score, but they missed the first two rounds, so give them some slack! Geeze people...
Another one in the books! Enjoy the beautiful day!
