I'm a penguin worshipping vagabond. I've traveled the greater parts of America and have decided to settle here just outside of Boston, after discovering that Florida was too hot, the south was too racist and California too strange.

Some Fun Facts

I grew up in Florida, and can do a fairly good Mickey Mouse impression.

I have lived in 7 states and 2 countries in the last 7 years.

I have a third degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. If you heckle me too much, I might kick your ass.

There is still debate over whether or not I've fought a bear and won. I'll let you be the judge.

My hair and eyes change colours like a chameleon. 

I'm working on a second Masters degree.

I'm still not sure if I'm more geek or drink, but I'll never say no to either.

Holy Bananas! It's already Thursday and time for a recap of tonight's quiz. You guys came from out of the wood works tonight, and I only know this because you know more about closet homosexuality and country bands than anything else. It was a good quiz and I thank you all for your flexibility and I don't mean in the bedroom. Tonight's quiz was brought to you by the letter U for U- all rock but U are not members of Mensa.

Here's the recap: 

The Wino's beat out Pineapple full of booze for first place. Making them the kings and queens of quiz. Newcomers Hugo, Benedict, and Miss Delaware walk into a bar were our third place and just out of the prize money winners. My hat's goes off to Star Power for being star cheaters. Thankfully they left and their scores didn't really matter anyway. But just a reminder, if you're cheating at quiz, you really need to reevaluate your life. It's just a game and we are all here for the fun. Shauna, Anabelle, Tova, and Sanna of Sara's Fan club didn't win, but they all had a good time and that's really all that matters.

Tonight's quiz was brought to you by the courtesy of internet dating. It's a terribly dangerous thing that never works, except for when it does. My friend, okay he's not really my friend, he's this guy I know. He's kind of an asshole, in an almost charming way, and totally single, anyway his name is FishBoxer. He has tried internet dating a time or two and it hasn't really worked for him, but he has gotten a lady or two a job from it. He recently announced that he didn't want anyone to help him find love. So of course that's just a cry out for me to play cupid and use this as a means of getting him laid. If you're interested He's available and looking for love, you could totally follow him on twitter or something. He really want's Baseball roses in his wedding, how romantic is that? He only smells like fish some of the  time, and knows more about packaging than anyone I've ever met. He's also a Quizmaster here in Boston. And also quite full of himself. Speaking of single Quizmasters you could also check out F.Stop Fitzgerald who will whip it out whenever you'd like. He might be tiny but they say good things come in small packages; and not everything about F.Stop is small he has a big .. uh maybe heart?  This is what I'm doing now pimping out other quiz masters on this blog. It's silly, but you know if OKCupid doesn't work maybe we can have a date your quizmaster night. They're not all terrible. 

I'm not really sure why this has even come up. Perhaps the love in the air tonight? In the mean time here's your recap: 

I hope you don't have Ants in your Pants after tonight's quiz. Keg certainly did when they prematurely ended their game. The Bulls came all the way from Florida to play tonight's quiz but they scored as well as USF did in just about everything, wah, wah. Team Fishbone came in second tonight. The lady bone, of the team, if you will, knew everything and she and her OKCupid date were just shy of first. Lady and the Mastadon took third, and just out of the prize range. They'll be back next week to take on Alcoholic Speed Fight who won all the money.

Tonight's Quiz was brought to you by the letter "B" for Birthdays! It was everyone's birthday tonight: Sue and Violet and Mike okay not Mike. But it felt like it was everyone's birthday and I got some cake. I fucking love cake. 

Here's who what happen with the scores. The Giant Barbarian Hoe Down brought their A game with Sean's knowledge of everything despite the fact that Costas doesn't know how many Moons Jupiter has. It's four count em' four (Galilean moons anyway). Titan orbits' Saturn you big lug! Get Well Seth came in second with a well used Joker. Double Seabiscuit w/Cheese came in third and Sarah is gonna take my advice and try her hand at Quizmastering soon. 

Here's what happened that should never happen again!!! A team, I won't name any names *cough* Southside *cough* pulled out their smart phones and suspiciously leaned over it all night. So while they thought they were racking in points they were really raking in dirty looks and suspicious whispers of other teams. Which is why the rest of you should never pull out your phones during quiz, unless your giving me your number, I might like that.  

In any case, I had a wicked good time and I can't wait for next weeks adventure at Shoppers!  I'll bring the energy, and y'all bring the fun!
