Last night there was NO SNOW, the wine was flowing, and the cupcakes ... oh god, the cupcakes. The cupcakes are the reason that we at Caveau Wine Bar have the best Monday night quiz in Denver. I dare you to disagree. 

ANYWAY. 

We had lots of fun last night, right y'all? Some long lost friends made their way back (hi, Preston!), and we made some new friends as well. It made up for the sting of a not-easy Round 2 ... maybe. Or not. Whatever. Some other moments: 

1) More Like "LoHi Suckers Club" thought that Gerard Butler should have been in One Helluva Fuck rather than Olympus Has Fallen, and I'm inclined to agree. Probably would have done way better at the box office, too. 

2) My favorite team name of the night goes to I Gave That Bitch A Quiz. Bitches Love Quizzes. Because you know what? Bitches DO love quizzes. Just ask your mom. 

3) I have to say, I wasn't expecting Fight On (LADIES) to put up such a good fight to place last night. Usually my most entertaining teams are not my best-placing teams ... so that goes to show you why you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. Except when you should. Y'all come back, ok? You're fun. 

So, hey! The weather is now awesome, and our quiz is even awesomer. I expect to see you all next Monday, lest you face my wrath. Lots and lots of wrath.

I am Score-O-Matt-Ic 9001 Series Quizbot!  Tremble in my lack of name recognition!  Fear my words typed originally in Calibri typeface!  

I have overtaken your quiz for the evening, while Mizz Linz is away.  I can only provide a few theories for her mysterious disappearance.

Don't be fooled, quizzers. Not having a huge amount of teams at a quiz does NOT equal a lack of good times. Trust me on this one. 

Between roping in some newbies (hi, Shiva & Chelli!), and then pitting our regular quizzers against one another ... well, shenanigans were had. So, here they are. Some moments: 

1) Mr. Meadows Throbbing Pants Emporium very wisely utilized the double-points-potential of Round 3 (the only ones to to this, mind you), and from that point forward the other teams didn't stand a chance. Well done, gentlemen. 

2) Dork Dynasty had a bit of a slow night, but still managed to give me some of my favorite (if incorrect) answers of the night. For instance, did you know that Orville Redenbacher was the spokesperson for Pop Secret? ;-) 

3) I have never seen/heard such delight from quizzers as when Bradford informed Shiva & Chelli as to what exactly a Sybian machine is. The fact that these ladies were already slightly wine-buzzed really just made it better. So much. 

So, hey. Y'all come back next week! It'll be fun times. And look! It didn't even snow this week. It's a sign of good things to come.
