Mission:
The Head for the Cure Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness and funding in the fight against brain cancer. In 2004, funds raised by Head for the Cure enabled the seed money to launch the Brain Tumor Trials Collaborative (BTTC) at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. Led by MD Anderson, the BTTC is a network of NCI-accredited medical centers with the expertise and the desire to participate in state-of-the-art clinical trials investigating new treatments for malignant brain tumors.

Mission:
The Mission of Boulder County AIDS Project (BCAP) is twofold: to provide support, advocacy and education to those in our community who are infected with or affected by the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and to serve as an outreach and information center to prevent further transmission of HIV and the resulting Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS).
The Money is Going Towards:
The money raised at this event will provide direct client assistance, including case management services, access to our food bank, free HIV tests, transportation to and from medical appointments, and more.

Mission:
I’m a Big Brothers Big Sisters volunteer and a captain of a Bowl for Kids’ Sake team – the money raised from our QFAC night will go directly towards my team’s donation total – all of which goes to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City.

The money raised will go towards the further recruitment, training and matching of adult mentors with local kids in need (which is sorely needed as there are over 500 Kansas City kids currently on the waiting list for a Big).

American Diabetes Assocaiation Step Out Walk Team: Punch You in the Diabetes

Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes is the signature fundraising walk of the American Diabetes Association.

Our team, Punch You In the Diabetes, raises money and walks on behalf of friends and family who have been diagnosed. We want to help the ADA fund research to prevent and cure diabetes, deliver services to hundreds of communities, and give voice to those denied their rights because of diabetes.

Mission:
Child Abuse Prevention Association - CAPA - “Our mission is to prevent and treat all forms of child abuse by creating changes in individuals, families and society that strengthen relationships and promote healing.”
The Money is Going Towards:
CAPA is a non-profit organization that is committed to healing the homes of those affected by traumatic events such as physical abuse, sexual abuse, and neglect through both prevention and intervention programs. A report of child abuse is made every 10 seconds, and, in 2012, CAPA 's Therapy Services services supported over 2,000 children and families. Your donation will help children and families heal from the devastation of abuse.

The mission of Denver Urban Ministries is to “inspire hope as an advocate and trusted provider of needed services.” Every day at DenUM families in crisis receive emergency food the Choice Food Pantry, rent or utility assistance, or infant items to help with basic needs.
