I've been a Geeks Who Drink quizmaster for almost five years. I was the first to host a quiz outside of Colorado. I work full time for Geeks, editing the weekly Geek In Review column, handling all our e-mail lists, outreach, website, private events and whatever else they tell me to do in exchange for a paycheck to feed my habit of good scotch and good video games.

I'm actually Jewish, not really of viking descent, like the Tim Robbins movie, and met my lovely wife when I offered her extra points on round 8 in exchange for a lifetime of dealing with my child-like tantrums.

Sorry to break to you dear quizzers, but there will be no more Geeks Who Drink quiz nights at Dubh Linn Square's pubs. As much as we'd love to go on, the decision is out of our hands and there won't be any more quizzes. Don't worry though, quiz at Dubh Linn may be over, but Geeks Who Drink isn't. Stay tuned to our website and your inboxes for where else you can go get your quiz on!

Some would argue that he was the greatest man ever born! It was a cold christmas night, he was birthed from a virgin in a quiet manger. That was Jesus, but a close second was October 15, 1984 when Matt Sorrentino escaped the clutches of his embryonic home. 


If there was one thing Matt was born to do, it was to make people laugh.  He has been doing just that since day 1 (rough estimate). Matt is young, smart, hilarious and extremely good looking, he comedy will leave you peeing on the edge of your seat. 

On a more personal note he likes mushrooms on his pizza and he throws pennies in the trash.

Declaring a winner was quite diffulcult tonight.  First we had some overtime... and then we had some more overtime.  It came down to the 10th question in OT when we got to crown Seau, I was cleaning my gun the winners.  Congratulations on taking down the notorious STFU Donnie. 

Also if anyone is looking for some action Fred Freda's number happens to be in the men's room stall.
