It was bring your kids to Hard Times Café night and those lucky parents got to see me educate their young on the devils grass. Please note that I did not know these children were present as I might have placed ear muffs on their innocent ears, but alas, I only became aware of their presence after their mom shuffled them by me while placing a disapproving glare in my direction. It stung for a second (literal second) and then I was back to it. There was no down time last night because we had 28 teams vying for the top spot. Any team amount above 23 usually keeps us grading continually for two hours. We have a new found appreciation for teachers.
For my wrestling fans last night..you’re welcome. For my Eifel 65 haters…I’m sorry. For that mom that now hates me…what can ya do?
Sparkling Ninja Ocelots beat the massive amounts of quizzers to win the first place prize with Husband Bulge coming in second. Mittens for Kittens got to go home with a high five and a third place prize.

Hockey Playoffs pffff... it’s pub quiz time! While the Flyers overtook the Penguins (Wahoo!), Whit and I rambled our way through another night of stellar pub quizzing. Reimaging? Reimagining? Yea, that happened. You know what we meant.
It was a packed house when we board gamed, SNL hosted, and Titaniced our way through the evening to some of the highest scores we have seen yet. While I think the real winners of the evening were I’ll be in and out who received some delicious puffer fish mints for their work, we do have to commend Chicken Tonight for their first place photo finish and the Pastafarians for their runner up status. Thank you for all of you who came out to cheer against the Penguins and play a little quiz.

Highlighted last night was our loveable crowd’s aptitude for the quirky and downright hilarious which was fueled by the “Another Round You Probably Don’t Want to Ace.” I might be playing the adoring host but I would like to think that it is just their innate ability to ascertain a random assortment of facts and not personal experience that makes them so wise, right? If it is the latter then there are a lot of people that I would steer clear of ladies. Sorry guys, but when 99.89% of you know how long a genital herpes outbreak is and how much a Realdoll costs..I begin to worry. Truth be told, having guys know the color of the custom 3-D glasses for Justin Bieber: Never say Never may be a little scarier.
The ninja’s who sparkle (Sparkling Ninja Ocelots) took home the top prize while Battle Toad Galactica followed up in second. 2-4-23-38-46 Megaball 23, while having the best name, sadly missed the mark yet again and went home with the third place prize.
