Ah, the sun returns! The warmer days are coming. College classes are ending for the time being... and that means that it's time for a cold beer and cool AC inside of Jack Quinn's and a great quiz.

Tonight we almost filled the main area with 12 big teams playing and having fun.

And MAN OH MAN Jack Guinn's has dolled up their menus and have some new WONDERFUL fare on it. And you know what? It needs to be inside of you! SO TASTY!

And even if some of the quizzers came out tonight but couldn't stay... that's ok! The quiz isn't JUST for those who want to stay all night... no! It's for people sitting at the bar talking (at a low and reasonable level) with their mates while they watch a game too.

And that's ok.

It's for people who haven't seen their friends all week and want to keep in tough.

How many of you visited 'Porn For The Blind' last night? C'mon.... how many?

One of the high points of last night for me was watching the manager listening to the audio that was going through his bar... smiling great big (but with a subtle hint of trepedation)... walk over to the dias and ask me "What the fuck is this?". But when I explained it, he chuckled to himself... but I KNOW that he was happy when the audio stopped.

And, judging from the audience scores... YOU all were paying GREAT attention. CONGRATULATIONS! If you were blind, then you would LOVE that stuff!

This proves to everyone: Come to Jack Quinn's on Monday nights! Drinks! Porn! Food! Porn! Waitstaff! ... ... ... Guinness!

Aw, Jack Quinn's. My ol' stompin' grounds. I used to come here back before I was a quizmaster, and I'm very happy to see that you guys are having just as much fun as ever. You're an awesome group, and I can't let the love flow enough.

And it was a good night, too! You guys were really on top of your game - except for confusing Pee Wee's Big Adventure with A Clockwork Orange. Come on, folks. I know that A Clockwork Orange similarly had men in white costumes and unusual makeup, but that's about where the similarities end with that particular still. If you've never seen Pee Wee's Big Adventure, you are missing out on one of the best films about a suit-wearing manchild's hunt for his stolen bike ever.

First place was claimed pretty early by The Hamburgers of Salem, with the following few teams jockeying for position all night. The exception would be Gum Makes Me Sad who ROARED into place by a very strategic joker. We'll tell you time and time again, folks - that joker will make the difference almost every time. Don't treat it lightly! Because of their joker, Gum Makes Me Sad went up against Keep Calm and Chive On in a wicked air guitar battle for second. Though I thought you guys were equally Marty McFly-worthy, the crowd seemed to favor the ladies, in this case. Ain't it always the way?

Justin will be back next week, but I'll truly miss you guys. Keep calm and...uh, do more pub quiz, I suppose.
