First EVER Geeks Who Drink Quiz for me…pretty intense and exciting.
Add in the Nuggs/Lakers game and the night at Prickly Pete’s was pretty much epic. Tons of people and tons of finagling to get the game and quiz to run together. Thanks goodness I had a few special people to help me through the night…
Ashley – the super awesome waitress at Pete’s who served me before, during, and after the quiz and was the brains behind the mission to achieve sound

Fuck Cinco de Derby Moon. But, it all came together after technical difficulties tried to break my will to live. Everyone at Pete's was awesome- made my night as easy as possible and I definitely didn't mind providing some individual attention to get us through the audio rounds. What a bunch of rock stars! Hard to believe, but even with some hoops to jump through I enjoyed my night of quizzing with you- ha, I guess I really do love this Quizmistress stuff!
Kudos to Cinco De Mayonnaisse, who not only attempted some audio assist but played a nearly perfect Round 8 with a joker, bringing in a blowout 81 points and a first place win.

Holy hell last night was fun! I'm not sure if it was the three quarters of a margarita I had or just y'all's sparkling personalities slash Christopher…Walken…imper…sonations…(hard to try to replicate his cadence in writing), but last night was really fuckin fun. There was a lot of goading and poor sportsmanship, but all in the name of free beer. Found Our Peter's Peter showed up just as the game was starting, and he brought his team the mojo they needed to win. Second place Jedi Mind Fuck didn't appreciate the victory hip-thrusts that certain members of Found Our Peter brought to the table, and vowed to get revenge next week. Third place Two in the Monkey got the job done, just like it did in high school. Thanks for being so smart and so funny, we'll see you next week!
