Hello. When I feel awkward I like to talk about my cats. If you stick around long enough I will definitely start showing you pictures of my cats. However, I am feeling mildly confident right now so here are some fascinating tidbits about this QM:

I became a Quiz Master straight out of college. My proud parents would like to be the first to tell you this is the most stable job I have ever had also, this is the longest I have ever held a job. It has been a challenge committing to the quiz but, it is one I do well with whiskey.

I enjoy watching copious amounts of television, muttering softly to myself and bowling. My day job is in the mental health field. I would like to adopt more cats. I am afraid of aliens and think human/ alien relations will never really jive. I have a degree in cultural anthropology. I am greatly looking forward to the impending apocalypse and hope you will enjoy my quiz. I suffer from a mild form of social anxiety and often fall victim to fear farts.

Holla! GWD was all new and all cool at Milos this week. Lori was totally psyched at how many of you showed up to devour wings, snack on mac wedges, sip some beers and exercise your geek brains. Drew and I were were glad to see the Mischievous Badgers back at Milos for a second time. You guys wailed on Mississippi and kicked some Shakespeare ass but, you lost your mojo on the girlie shows. It is past time for a Gilmore Girls marathon. Before you know it we will all be using that cute, totally annoying voice inflection used by both Lorelai and Rory. Don't know what I am talking about? Time for a marathon.

So maybe you did not diretly ask for it but, we have all talked about it. So for your enjoyment here is a picture of my cat: 

He is a cutie! Anyway. Let's talk about the quiz. In our most recent addition we covered Romans, R.A. Dickey, and big buck movie franchies. Why, why did so many of you write Tiwlight? Seriously? No! Bad Geeks! Bad! It's Bond, Potter and naturally Star Wars. How could you forget Star Wars? We ask you guys questions about it like every single week.Moot point. 

Highlights from tonight's game include the return of summer regulars, that guy who randomly shouted about ball sacks half way across the bar and best of all:  "yeah if you buy me dinner you can touch me a little" - Drew. Drew you are awesome and possibly a bit loose. 

High five to all the teams who dominated in round one and double high five for Back and Better Than Never for holding strong all night long.

MY DICK

Everybody likes a good dick joke from time to time. The Geeks at Milos are no exception. Tour De France…In my Pants! and What's Harder than Repealing Obama Care? MY DICK! took the shaft in points but got ahead in laughter. Tonight's game was tough. We covered Beatles lyrics, current events and best of all The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Thank you to Ruth who came prepared in her Hitcher's garb! I have to say you have raised the bar for Geeks.

Speaking of raising the bar The Mischievous Badgers did their own damage with official GWD/ Mischievous email bonus question stationary. I wish now I would have scanned it and shared it here. The Badgers tell me they travel to a new venue every week so hopefully the next Quiz Master they encounter will be both equally amazed and yet more thoughtful in the moment.

And now for the Quasar… Okay yes. It has something to do with a black hole but when was the last time you saw a black hole? Right. You can't see a black hole. You can see a quasar and it is more fun to say.
