Tonight's game of GWD included some deep thoughts along the lines of: "Alec Trebek was a stone cold fox in the day", "Yeah. Suck it Trebek!" "Where the heckers did Ken Jennings come from?" "Bob Barker's mic is weird" and "Is the Quizmaster playing god dam Loverboy again?".
I played a good amount of Loverboy, Styx and even some Bieber. Don't hate on it. I know you loved it and I saw I couple of you signing along. And for the record I Googled "cool music" prior to the quiz and I think I 1 Uped it.
The quiz was pretty rockin' tonight. We had some mega high scores, a round from freaking Ken Jennings and way too many Trebek jokes. The Ken Jennings round was pretty sweet. I can't remember what it was about but I loved every second of it. I hope you did too. I also loved that you guys think pretzels are part of the Axis of Evil.
On that note I am going to ponder deep things and take a nap. Thanks for playing and see you next week for some serious GWD action and more musical enchantment.

For the Geeks at Milo's the general consensus was in a range between 0-4 beers. 0-1 beers is dubstep love. The Fluffy Bunny Fuckers were rocking out and Eddie of That IS Gravy was putting on some pretty sweet dance moves to the Inspector Gadget cover. People with 2-3 beers were pretty mellow about it. They could go either way on the dubstep. Sure they are not going to listen to it in the care on the way home, they might bop their heads a bit, but they sure as fuck are not going to riot over how much they hate it. The people with 4+ beers had more anger than a bunch of metal heads in the pit at a Black Flag show. Thankfully, they did not try to punch person with the mic. Drew had his karate moves ready but seriously guys, don't make him pull out the Chuck Norris Roundhouse. Anyway the drunken dub-haters sat in their chairs fuming about the steps they would not be taking. Well sirs and madams you missed out on the opportunity to dance to some sweet versions of Doctor Who, Batman and yes even the Munsters. I hope you continue to enjoy murdering fun while you drink your Miller High Life like a snob!
You what is straight up awesome? Sure you do. But add these three things to you Awesome List:
- In the words of Davy from That Ain't Gravy: "I like my Shakespeare with a side of Keanu" and for your information Kenneth freaking Branagh directed that shit. So you get the best of Shakespeare and the some hot, sweaty, dumb hottie off the beach. It is a trashy dime store romance novel brought to life. Davey, you are a man among men for knowledge of the lady spank bank and or your just hilarious. Nicely done sir, nicely done.
- The Interwebs is a beautiful place. Yep where else would you find extreme heavy metal covers of Katy Perry, Jay-Z and Eddie Money or that matter any of those dubstep covers. I can assure you nobody is going down to Wax Trax to buy that on vinyl. Hey but if you want a copy of it. I will try to hook you up. Just email me and I will work my Bob Barker like magic.
- Finally, Thank you to that random dune who shouted out the answer "Columbia" we all would have been raging pissed about it, like the dub-haters, but the follow up of "What? That's where I go to get all my hookers because they are the finest" was enough to get a laugh and earn you some brownie points with the Columbian Prostitutes.
Alright, so there is a brief rundown. Now if you'll excuse me I am off the work on my dance moves and watch the Price is Right.

Tonight's game was a blood a bath. Serial killers, mass murderers, major catastrophes and George Michael, the later might fall into the former… I can't believe I didn't play you all "Wham Rap!". It would have been a perfect follow up to MC Hammer. Next week plan on hearing a musical recap with a couple of sweet additions like Wham, NKOTB, and some MJ. We are going to rock it like 13 year olds in the early nineties. Hey it is way better than rocking it like some of the dudes we saw in round five. Kudos to Happy Days for all their knowledge of real and imaginary murderers. Some of you were close but Kramer never actually confessed to killing anyone… it was all hearsay and conjecture.
